About the Founder
Meet Ulanda
Ulanda Spencer, MBA, CRCR is an experienced healthcare professional for over 15 years. She has gained the majority of her experience in healthcare working at Duke Health in various capacities including customer service, professional billing, coding, outsourcing, process improvement and strategic initiatives. Although there were a lot of accomplishments in the professional space, personally it left the wife and mother of 4 depressed and full of anxiety for years.
In an effort to get her life back, Ulanda decided that it was time for a change. Ulanda and family left North Carolina and relocated to Houston Texas. The excitement of a new location emerged, allowing her to actively pursue one of her dreams, which is to provide a safe and serene outlet for individuals who need to take a mental break from everyday life.

Sanity Spa exists to provide a safe place for you to escape everyday life for a brief moment to breathe. In a world that is constantly on-the-go and moving at an extremely fast pace no matter how you feel, our goal is to increase and promote a positive, healthy mindset and sanity for your well-being. Allow us to take care of you and your mind, which will provide you enough sanity for you to take care of others. Embrace self-care and wellness. You deserve it.

We have all been in a position in which we needed someone to demonstrate and show genuine compassion. Showing compassion is an indication of care and Sanity Spa will be motivated to relieve that suffering by showing genuine kindness to every client we come in contact with. Our detailed offerings are designed to cater to anyone who is in need of a temporary mental break. We will not only feel compassion but we will also act out of compassion.
